Our Role
In contrast to one-off brokerage transactions, as is usually the case with a broker, our business is of a long-term and permanent nature. We do not earn our money by handling a one-off transaction, but only over the term of a successful customer relationship. We work for this long-term nature every day and support both sides in their daily business. We are part of the process chain and always have the right solution. Wepgate is a consultant, purchaser, logistician and, if required, also a fire department or spiritual counselor.
Our special hybrid position makes it difficult to refer to one party or the other as a “customer”. Because we do not have a clear customer in this sense, the customer is not king for us, but rather the long-term and joint success of all parties. Our company is only successful if everyone else is already successful - that's what we work for.

What does our support cost you?
Support and the search for suitable producers is always free of charge for clients. The remuneration for our service is paid by the contractor and is based on the successfully delivered order volume.
Won't the order cost me more if someone is “in between”?
To make a long story short: No. Of course, our service is not free and is part of the overall calculation - just as it would be for a salaried employee. In contrast to a salaried employee, however, we do not receive a salary or a fixed remuneration, but only a performance-related remuneration. This not only reduces the risk and the effective sales costs of our producers, but also increases their planning security.
Can I be sure that the production order will go to the producer who is best suited and not to the one who pays the most?
In fact, this risk is real in pure brokerage transactions. Sales companies in the finance and insurance industry in particular are often accused of this - perhaps rightly so in some cases. In our case, however, the situation is different: as we are remunerated ex-post purely on the basis of production volume, what counts for us above all is long-term success - an “after us comes the deluge” mentality is harmful for us. Furthermore, we counter this problem with 100% transparency: every offer from our partners contains a “transparent” calculation in which the cost price and contribution margins are disclosed. This means that clients can always make decisions based on the facts.
Can I see the production facilities for myself in advance?
Yes, of course! You are welcome to visit our manufacturing partners at any time to see their expertise and ours for yourself.
Is it possible to use Wepgate's services for a fee?
f course, there is also the option of commissioning us as an external consultant or expert. A typical case would be a situation in which your company already has one or more production facilities in close focus, but requires an additional external expert assessment for the final decision.
